Plumas NF – Mt. Hough Trail – temporary closure

QUINCY, Calif. – The Mt. Hough Trail is temporarily closed through the third week in June, 2018 (estimate) due to an active vegetation removal project in the area.

The project is part of the Empire fuel break (also called a defensible fuel profile zone or DFPZ) designed to create a healthier forest and to provide a safer firefighting zone should an uncontrolled wildfire approach American Valley (Plumas County, CA).
