Plumas NF–Antelope Lake road-travel delays-June 5 and 6

Fish Rock Blasting

QUINCY, Calif. – Travelers on the Antelope Lake road (29N43) within the Plumas National Forest in CA, may experience 30 minute – 2 hour delays on June 5 and 6, due to hazard-rock blasting along the route. The blasting and closure areas are between the forest boundary (past Genesee Valley) and Antelope Lake Dam.

The project had been previously scheduled in mid-May but was cancelled due to thunderstorms.

Questions regarding the blasting project and Antelope Lake area recreation opportunities may be directed to the Mt. Hough Ranger District at (530) 283-0555.
