Prescott National Forest Offices Closed November 26

PRESCOTT, AZ – November 20, 2020 -- All Prescott National Forest offices will be closed Thursday, November 26, 2020, in observance of Thanksgiving Day.  Offices will resume virtual business hours on Friday, November 27.

For many families, the weekend after Thanksgiving is a good time to venture into the forest to cut down a fresh Christmas tree.  If you purchased a permit, please follow instructions provided and have your permit with you.  All Prescott NF Christmas tree permits have been sold. As part of the national Every Kid Outdoors initiative, fourth and fifth graders with an Every Kid Outdoors pass are entitled to a free Christmas tree permit. For more information about Every Kid Outdoors Christmas tree permits, please call the Bradshaw Ranger District, (928) 443-8000; Forest Supervisors Office (928) 777-2200; or the Verde Ranger District (928) 567-4121.
