Special Use Event on the Prescott National Forest Saturday April 17

PRESCOTT, AZ – April 9, 2021— The Prescott National Forest has a special use event scheduled on Saturday, April 17th on the Bradshaw Ranger District.

 

The Whiskey Basin Trail Run is a two-day footrace on the Prescott Circle Trail with up to 150 participants.  The race will only use National Forest lands for one day on Saturday the 17th and the remaining events on Sunday will take place on City of Prescott lands.  The event will be staged out of Watson Lake City Park with participants competing in 92K, 60K, 30K, half marathon and 10K races utilizing the Prescott Circle Trail. The start and finish lines for all distances is at Watson Lake.  Event Organizers will begin marking the course (flagging) and putting up signage as early as April 10 & 11.
