2018 Closure: What's Open/What's Closed

All recreation sites, roads and trails on the Verde and Chino Valley Ranger Districts are OPEN.

On the Bradshaw Ranger District, the only developed recreation sites affected by this closure are in the Horsethief Basin Recreation Area. All other Recreation Areas are OPEN: Granite Basin, Lynx Lake, Thumb Butte, Mingus Mountain, and Groom Creek Recreation Areas.  Roads on the perimeter of the closure area are OPEN, but entry/travel is prohibited within the closure area.  Please see the news releaseForest Order No. 09-248, and printable maps for more information.
