Transition - Post-Fire Response Incident Management Team

Over the past 10 months the Northern Region post-fire response Incident Management Team (IMT) has worked closely with District, Forest and Regional staff to coordinate Burned Area Emergency Response, reforestation assessments, salvage planning, and mushroom harvest. While there is still work to be done, there is no longer a need for a standing IMT so the team will officially transition back to their normal work duties. Implementation work will continue, as will efforts to inform the public, cooperators, stakeholders, and others about the 2017 post-fire response.
