Message from Regional Forester Jennifer Eberlien & Research Station Director Richard Barhydt
Please congratulate these Honor Award honorees on their successes and outstanding contributions. The theme for this year's Honor Award ceremony was "Stronger Together." The theme highlights how excited we are to be here, together and in-person, for the first time in several years. Though we continue to be faced with COVID-related impacts, one thing remains unchanged. Namely, our employees and partners continue to advance the Forest Service mission in the Pacific Southwest Region through their impactful and significant achievements and passion for the land.
We are thrilled to present this year's awards to a host of employees and partners who, while representing a diverse array of approaches, all share the same commitment towards restoring, enhancing, and sustaining forest lands in California, Hawai'i and the Pacific Islands.
On behalf of the USDA Forest Service Pacific Southwest Region and Research Station, we congratulate our honorees, as well as all the Region and Research Station employees, for the work that you do. You are making a difference for the American public and for future generations.
