How to Obtain a Pass and a Hangtag:

We are currently experiencing high volumes of individuals purchasing the lifetime interagency senior passes across the agency. Below are the options for purchasing a Senior pass before August 27th, 2017.

IN PERSON: The Milwaukee, WI. office, located at 626 E. Wisconsin Ave,  is currently sold out of National Park Passes. HOWEVER, you may still come into our office and purchase a pass for $10.00.  At this time, you will be offered two choices:

  • Purchase a pass now in the office for $10.00 and recieve a voucher to pick up later.  If you choose this option, you may only redeem your voucher at our office. Vouchers are not valid at any other pass location.
  • Purchase a pass in the office for $10.00 and recieve your pass via mail. If you choose this option, we cannot be sure when you will recieve your pass in the mail. It is our hope that all passes will be recieved by the end of September.

Please be aware that "in-person" purchasing options may result in longer than normal wait times. We thank you for your patience.

ONLINE: The USGS is also experiencing a heavy backlog, and the processing time is currently 12 weeks. As long as the pass is purchased prior to August 27th, 2017, it will be processed at the $10.00 rate. Keep in mind that online orders are assessed a $10.00 administrative fee. The pass will cost a total of $20.00 if you choose this method. You can order your pass online by clicking HERE.

MAIL: If you decide to mail in a paper application, it will need to be postmarked prior to August 27th, 2017 in order for the $10.00 rate to be honored. Paper applications are also facing a 12 week processing time and also require a $10.00 processing fee. If you choose this option, the total cost will be $20.00. You can download a paper application HERE. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully in order to ensure your application is processed.

PLEASE NOTE: Our forest offices are also experiencing high volumes of pass sales. Please contact your local office prior to arriving to purchase a pass.
