The Jemez Mountains are a treasured landscape to many different people for many different reasons.  We know that the ecosystem functions as a whole regardless of administrative or land ownership boundaries.  That is why all of the partners in the SWJM collaborative are committed to working across jurisdictions and in a broad and dynamic way to restore and preserve these forested lands for future generations.

The SWJM Collaborative Forest Landscape Restoration Project centers around collaboration and community to create a shared vision for stewardship that will sustain our forests into the future.

By working collaboratively, the SWJM partners are able to balance economic, cultural, social and ecological values while improving the health of the ecosystem.
