Winter Visitor Map

2 people, 2 snowmachines, open snowy field, snowy mountains in the background

This map is designed to assist the Sawtooth National Forest visitor by identifying areas and places for winter recreation. Use the map to find trailheads, parking areas, warming huts, snowmobile routes, ski areas, and areas for over-snow vehicle use. The Forest has established area restrictions on over-snow vehicle use to protect natural resources and wildlife, separate motorized and non-motorized recreation opportunities, and to minimize user conflicts.

This map is available for no charge in any of the Sawtooth National Forest offices.
