                Sawtooth National Forest, Ketchum Ranger District – Notice of Draft Decision on Sun Valley Resort Cold Springs Chairlift Replacement and Associated Projects

 

 

Ketchum, IDA Draft Decision Notice regarding the projects analyzed in the Sun Valley Resort Cold Springs Chairlift Replacement Environmental Assessment (EA) have been completed and are available for review. The EA and Draft Decision Notice are available for review and download on the Sawtooth National Forest website at: https://www.fs.usda.gov/project/?project=51689. Hard copies of the documents can also be reviewed at the Ketchum Ranger District Office in Ketchum, ID.

Based on analysis presented in the EA, the Draft Decision Notice identifies the Selected Alternative as Alternative 2 – the Proposed Action. The specific elements of Alternative 2 are described in detail in Chapter 2 of the EA.

 

The Responsible Official with approval authority for these activities on National Forest System lands is Kit Mullen, Forest Supervisor for the Sawtooth National Forest. A separate Decision Record will be issued by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for activities that occur on BLM lands.
