The Salmon-Challis National Forest has brought in Seth Romocki as the Acting District Ranger behind Kyra Povirk for the Salmon-Cobalt/Leadore Ranger Districts.  Seth Romocki comes from the Lolo National Forest and is currently the Timber Management Assistant for the East Zone of the Forest.

Seth began on September 14th and will be on the Forest until sometime in December 2020.  “We are extremely excited to have Seth come to the Forest and provide leadership while District Ranger Povirk is off on a temporary assignment in Northern California,” said Chuck Mark, Forest Supervisor for the Salmon-Challis National Forest.

Romocki is a graduate of the University of Montana with a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Resource Management.  In addition to experience on the Lolo National Forest, has worked on the Helena National Forest in Montana.
