New facilities at Lick Fork Lake and Parsons Mountain Recreation Areas

The Sumter National Forest and Long Cane Ranger District has decommissioned and removed restroom facilities at Lick Fork Lake and Parsons Mountain Campgrounds that had reached their lifespans and were no longer operable. The Forest is excited to announce that it has replaced them with new vault toilets. At Lick Fork Lake, there is a single vault toilet at the day use area. At Parsons Mountain, there is a single vault toilet at the day use area and a double vault toilet at the campground loop. These new facilities address deferred maintenance needs and will provide safe and clean restroom facilities for the public for years to come.
