Lander, Wyoming

In the foothills of the eastern slopes of the Wind River Mountains, you will find Lander and its wide range of exciting adventures to explore. Time West magazine voted Lander as one of the Top Ten Western Towns, and the opportunities this town provides are sure to impress.
The “City of Bronze” is so named because of the famous bronze foundry located there, as well as the bronze statues that decorate the town. Pioneer Days (one of Wyoming’s biggest Fourth of July celebrations), Gold Rush Days, the International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race, the Heart of the West Invitational Art Show and Sale, and the annual Lander Brew Fest are some of the events that Lander hosts.
You can find additional activities outside the town as well. Outdoor recreation opportunities include rock climbing in the Wind River Mountains, traveling the scenic Loop Road, camping at Lander’s City Park, and hiking, jogging, or biking the Popo Agie River.
