CODY, Wyo., April 12, 2018 – Due to snow levels this past fall, the Washakie Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest was unable to swing a closure gate near the Pass Creek Subdivision on Forest Service Road 326, also known as Limestone Road. This gate has now been locked and all roads behind the gate are closed.

This seasonal closure of a portion of Limestone Road is in place to mitigate damage to resources while the remaining snow melts. Once this occurs and road conditions are more firm, the gate will once again be opened to allow motorized passage in the area. Please respect all closed gates and associated signs.

For more information, please contact the Washakie District Office at 307-332-5460. For additional information on the Shoshone National Forest, visit http://www.fs.usda.gov/shoshone, follow us on Twitter (@ShoshoneNF), or like us on Facebook (US Forest Service – Shoshone National Forest).
