Corvallis, OR, April 15, 2021— Siuslaw National Forest officials are soliciting proposals for management of numerous campgrounds and other related developed recreation facilities to be operated under a concession campground special use permit. One special use permit will be issued to a concessionaire to provide high-quality public services in the operation and maintenance of government-owned recreation facilities (11 campgrounds, 8 day-use areas). Applications are due by June 14; officials anticipate the special use permit will be effective beginning January 1, 2022.

The prospectus can be found on the forest website, along with details about the application process. Prospective applicants can review the prospectus documents or contact Recreation Manager Chris LaCosse, at 541-271-6017, for more information.
