When purchasing, you must provide a valid identification card issued by a state or U.S. federal government and your vehicle make, model, and license plate number.

Permits that require a supplemental request form can be filled out at a ranger station, printed and brought to a ranger station, or emailed to r6_siuslaw_WWWeb_Front_Desk@usda.gov.

  • Only harvest in designated areas as listed on your permit. Maps will be provided with your permit.

How to Protect the Forest While Harvesting

  • Harvest products in a caring and ecologically sound way.
