Six Rivers to sell surplus vehicles via internet auction

EUREKA, Calif. – On Friday, February 16, the Six Rivers National Forest will begin taking bids on 33 surplus vehicles by public internet auction. That day, the public may begin viewing and bid on the vehicles up for sale on the Government Services Administration (GSA) website: www.gsaauctions.gov. Internet bidding ends on Monday, February 26, at the posted deadline time. Please be aware that the deadline is posted as Central Time.

To begin your search of available vehicles, type sale number 91QSCI18008 into the ‘Search’ box on the GSA website. Only Six Rivers National Forest items will be displayed. Each item up for sale has an assigned number, description, photos(s), and a contact name and number if further inquiry is needed.

Bidders need to be sure to view the ‘Terms and Conditions’ (in the blue tool bar at the top of the page) for all requirements regarding registering, bidding, payment, warranties and removal of successfully bid items.

The vehicles are available for public viewing from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., starting Friday, February 16 through Monday, February 26 (excluding the weekends and Presidents Day), at the Six Rivers National Forest Supervisor’s Office, 1330 Bayshore Way, in Eureka, California.
