Forest Recreation Report
Forest visitors should practice self-sufficiency during their visit to the area. Responsible recreation practices should be maintained at all times, including:
• "Know before you go," involving a variety of factors to know, which may include checking the weather forecast
• "Pack it in, pack it out," Where possible picking up trash left by others sets a good example and we appreciate the help.
• Some services you normally may expect, may not be available where you recreate on the national forest, for example, cell phone coverage may not be available. So please plan accordingly.

Recreation Opportunity Guides (ROGS)
ROGS are updated once a year (in the spring), and these brochures offer tips on bicycling to wildlife viewing... and everything in between.
Please check for fire restrictions before you go. Campfire permits are required to have a campfire or stove at a dispersed site. Campfire permits are available online at www.readyforwildfire.org/permits/campfire-permit/
