Shasta-Trinity National Forest lifts some fire area closures

REDDING, Calif. — The Shasta-Trinity National Forest has lifted the fire area closure from the Spring Fire and amended the closure for the August Complex in the South Fork Management Unit. Several campgrounds and Forest Service roads in the Forest Glen area will remain closed due to fire damage and hazardous trees through November 1, 2021.

 

Campgrounds that will remain closed until the end of next year include Scott Flat, Hell Gate and Forest Glen. Roads that remain closed are Moore’s Road (FS 1S26), Glen Creek Road (1S04), Kenny’s Road (1S26C) and Marie Creek Road (1S17).
