This grant cycle the Tahoe National Forest may be submitting grant applications for:

Development – Sugar Pine Loops 5 & 6 Reroutes (Foresthill)

Development – China Wall Staging Area Expansion

Development - Rubicon Reroute (0.8 mile reroute to pre-empt potential closure of the trail from a pending landslide that would take out the trail)

Restoration – Sugar Pine Natural Resources Protection Fencing

Restoration (planning) – Fordyce Jeep Trail Archaeological Resources Assessment

Planning – Washington ROV route and trailhead planning
The TNF OHV Preliminary Grant Applications will be available for public review and comment from March 5 to May 6, 2024, on the California State Parks Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division’s website at https://olga.ohv.parks.ca.gov/egrams_ohmvr/user/home.aspx. Public comments need to be submitted to both the Tahoe National Forest and the OHMVR, instructions on how to comment are on the OHMVR’s website.
