Tahoe National Forest offices will be closed for Christmas & New Year's

Nevada City, CA, December 15, 2018 - All Tahoe National Forest offices and ranger stations will be closed Tuesday, December 25, 2018 for Christmas Day and Tuesday, January 1, 2019 for New Year's Day. The Supervisor's Office at 631 Coyote Street in Nevada City will also be closed, December 25, 2018 and January 1, 2019. Regular business hours will resume Wednesday, December 26th, 2018 and January 2nd, 2019.

Despite the office closure, fire personnel, law enforcement officers, and recreation staff will be on-duty for the safety of visitors.

Remember to practice good campfire safety and respect your public lands by packing out your trash.
