NEBO LOOP SCENIC BYWAY SLUMP
REPAIR WORK TO BEGIN OCTOBER 23, 2017

Spanish Fork, Utah, October 11, 2017 – The U.S. Forest Service, Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, in partnership with Utah County Public Works Department will be repairing the slump that occurred on the northern part of the Nebo Loop Scenic Byway during the winter of 2016.  Utah County has selected Harrison Field Services, Moab Utah, as the contractor to conduct the repairs that are slated to start on October 23, 2017.

Once the contractor begins work, road access through the construction area will be limited to one lane of traffic through the end of Utah’s General Deer Hunt, on October 29th.  Starting October 30, 2017 the road will be closed to all through traffic.
