Hood-Willamette Resource Advisory Committee meeting scheduled

Springfield, Ore., Jan. 7, 2020 The Hood-Willamette Resource Advisory Committee (RAC) will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., and will conclude at approximately 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Keizer Community Center, Claggett Room, 930 Chemawa Road NE, Keizer, OR 97303.

 

"The focus of this meeting will be to review and discuss Title II project proposals submitted during the 2019 solicitation window," said Hood-Willamette RAC Coordinator Jennifer Sorensen. "Additionally, the committee will hear about background information on a new special recreation permit fee being proposed in conjunction with the Central Cascades Wilderness Permit System."

 

A public forum is tentatively scheduled to begin at 9:15 a.m. Time allotted for individual oral comments will be limited to three minutes or less. Individuals wishing to make oral statements or provide written comments should notify or submit comments to Jennifer Sorensen at jennifer.sorensen@usda.gov no later than Jan. 10, 2020.  Written comments are encouraged, particularly if the material cannot be presented within the time limits for the public forum.
