All Things King Fire

The official King Fire Restoration Project planning documents are available here.

Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS)

The FEIS was e-filed with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on August 21, 2015.  Publication of the Notice of Availability (NOA) in the Federal Register is anticipated this Friday, August 28, 2015.  Alternative Arrangements were granted by the President's Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) which eliminate both the minimum 90-day requirement between the Notice of Availability of the draft EIS and the publication of the Record of Decision (ROD), and the 30-day waiting period between the publication of the final EIS and the ROD.  The FEIS, and the letters granting Alternative Arrangements can be found on the project website .
