Programmatic Restoration

On December 28, 2012 Fred Way, Forest Supervisor for the Fremont-Winema National Forests, signed the Decision Notice to implement the Fremont-Winema National Forest Programmatic Restoration Project. The decision covers future restoration and resource improvement actions located across the Forest.

The decision will allow the Forest to play an active role in the development and implementation of desired watershed restoration and resource improvement actions through a collaborative effort with local agencies, the Klamath Tribes, and various stakeholders.
