Authorized Outfitters and Guides

The Manti-La Sal National Forest authorizes a variety of privately provided recreation opportunities. Persons and business offering recreation experiences for a fee on the National Forest must have a special use authorization. If they do not have a current authorization for the experience they are offering on the National Forest, they are operating illegally and are subject to prosecution.

This site is intended to provide a list of current authorizations and assist you in the selection of an outfitter-guide. It may not be all-inclusive. Please contact the Special Use Administrator at the appropriate Ranger District Office of the Manti-La Sal National Forest if you wish to inquire whether a particular outfitter that is not listed is authorized.
