Hutton Junior Fisheries Biology Program

Fisheries Biologist prepare for electrofishing in Clear Creek.The Hutton Junior Fisheries Biology Program is a summer mentoring program for high school students designed to stimulate interest in careers in fisheries science and management among groups underrepresented in the fisheries professions.

Thanks to generous support from partners at the American Fisheries Society, the Salmon-Challis National Forest and Idaho Department of Fish & Game, Salmon High School students have the opportunity to compete for a paid internship working with local fisheries biologists.
