When visitors come to Tahoe National Forest office locations, they have an opportunity to enhance their visit by viewing many exciting items with an all-natural theme.  You’ll find posters displaying nature, maps, valuable artifacts and more!  At the interpretive office locations, you’ll even get to see some preserved animals.

Added this year inside the lobbies of all U.S. Forest Service locations, gifts are on display and provided by the Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association.

Children love the stuffed animals, and Truckee Ranger District not only has Smokey Bear, but also has finger puppets of many animals found in nature.  Owls are one of their favorites!

All locations have the following items: hats, t-shirts, scarves, binoculars, puzzles, water bottles, books, maps, and a nice selection of coffee mugs.  Come by and find a perfect holiday gift item for a friend or family member.

People from all over the world come to the Tahoe National Forest to hike, camp and recreate.  The brochures and books about nature and wildlife, or activities you can participate in while recreating on the Tahoe National Forest, make perfect gifts!

Yuba River Ranger District station in Camptonville, CA, has a full-sized mountain lion on display, from the Downieville area, and the Truckee Ranger District station has a ferocious wolverine on display.
