Access Database

MicroSoft Access was selected by the Ejido and by the Project Coordinating Team to guide and track the evaluation of principles, criteria, indicators and verifiers and serve as the meta-database for the project and any subsequent testing. An Access form for each of these four primary layers was developed based originally on the LUCID format. The form was customized for the Chihuahua project to include specific items of interest including scale and application to areas beyond the Ejido. The database was populated with principles, criteria and indicators from the Chihuahua master list (Lista Maestra). Where similar items where evaluated in the LUCID project this material was also provided (but not translated) for the Ejido. The Team Leader will translate this material as necessary for the team.

The indicator evaluation form corresponds to the questions and examples included in the accompanying document Formato Para Indicadores (SPANISH VERSION ONLY). A similar question guide is being revised and translated to accompany the verifier stage of the evaluation. Examples from the initial evaluation of 1 indicator conducted at the workshop can be found below.
