Reason

Definition: The reason that justified performing the work.

1. Health and Safety: Addresses a threat to human health and safety that requires immediate interim abatement or long-term permanent abatement.
   
   
2. Resource Protection: Addresses a threat or risk of damage, obstruction, or negative impact to a natural or cultural resource. All work items default to this reason, user must select other reasons when applicable.
   
   
3. Forest Mission: Addresses a threat or risk to carry out the mission of the organization. Needs are related to administration and providing services (transportation, recreation, grazing, etc.) and are not covered by Health and Safety reasons or resource protection.
