WASHINGTON, D.C. – Reflecting this year's theme, “America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion," we must be mindful of the importance of ensuring that people with disabilities have full access to employment and community involvement during the national recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The purpose of National Disability Employment Awareness Month is to educate about disability employment issues and celebrate the many and varied contributions of America's workers with disabilities.

The USDA Forest Service is excited to partner with the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Civil Rights to present an educational awareness discussion on Disability Etiquette on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (EDT). Please join us for an interactive webinar, “Disability Inclusion: Moving from Awareness to Action,” with our keynote speaker, Dr. Ryan C. Warner.

“USDA is committed to participating in National Disability Employment Awareness Month an annual awareness campaign that takes place each October.
