Mary Snieckus accepted the position of acting chief of staff in the Office of the Chief effective Oct. 25. Snieckus currently serves as acting senior advisor to USDA Office of the Under Secretary, Natural Resources and Environment. She replaces Katherine "Katie" Armstrong, who has acted in the position since January.

Jennifer “Erin” Swiader accepted the position of Forest Service liaison, USDA Office of the Under Secretary, Natural Resources and Environment. Swiader currently serves chief of staff for the Northern Region.
