TIWWA engagement deadline to be extended
WASHINGTON, D.C.—At the close of FY21, more than 14,800 Forest Service employees had participated in the This is Who We Are (internal link) Foundations engagement, where they discussed our agency’s mission, purpose, and value; our agency’s values; and our code and commitments. These employees now have the knowledge and tools necessary to actively shape their experience as the agency leans further into cultivating a values-based, purpose-driven and relationship-focused culture.
Much of the success in reaching nearly half our workforce is due to the efforts of the TIWWA national ambassador cadres hosting regularly scheduled engagements open to all agency employees. These open enrollment engagements started in February and will conclude Dec. 15. This leaves many employees wondering how to satisfy their AgLearn requirement (listed as “6140 National This is Who We Are Employee Engagement Session 1”) to attend an engagement prior to the target of Dec. 31.
One option is to attend an engagement within one’s own region, station or area. Many are hosting their own TIWWA engagements, which are the same as those led by the national cadre. To learn more about any scheduled engagements in your region, station or area, please contact your TIWWA unit coordinator. If there are no engagements scheduled within your unit, don’t be discouraged—the AgLearn target date has been adjusted to allow employees to participate through June 30, 2022.
If you have any questions, please contact your TIWWA unit coordinator (internal link) or Brad Tait, national program manager, at bradley.tait@usda.gov.
