WASHINGTON, DC—The latest issue of Fire Management Today is now available. The long-running periodical released volume 79 in December.

This issue focuses on an issue of critical importance to our agency and core values: the psychological safety and well-being of our firefighters.

Articles include personal perspectives from Washington Office leadership and employees on the ground, as well as pieces discussing both historical and modern concepts of psychological safety. It discusses how psychological safety became the center of what's being called the Big Quiet—the culture of silence around mental health—and what we can do to challenge that culture.
