A Coordinated Response Protocol team, including a Learning Review Team, performed support and organizational learning after employees of the Los Padres National Forest, Region 5, suffered catastrophic injuries and damage occurred to forest structures during the Dolan Fire in September 2020. The fire grew extremely quickly overnight and encroached on occupied buildings, leading to multiple employees getting trapped and several getting injured when the wildfire overtook their buildings and position.
