James McFarland accepted the position of assistant director of Renewable Resources, Eastern Region. McFarland currently serves as the Natural Resources staff officer on the Superior National Forest in Duluth, Minnesota.

Hector Ortiz accepted the position of staff assistant to the deputy chief of staff for Business Operations in Washington, DC. Ortiz currently serves as the Forest Service’s GAO audit liaison within the Chief Financial Officer Organization’s Audit and Assurance staff in Washington, DC.

Ericka Thomas accepted the position of staff assistant to the deputy chief of staff for Business Operations in Washington, DC. Thomas currently serves as a public health analyst for the National Institute of Health All of Us Research Program.
