Scott Barndt accepted the position of natural resource specialist with Ecosystem Management Coordination as the adaptive management project manager in Washington, DC. Barndt currently serves as the Ecosystems staff officer on the Custer Gallatin National Forest in the Northern Region (R1).

Edward Hiatt accepted the position of assistant director (Operations) for Fire, Fuels and Aviation Management for the Pacific Northwest Region (Region 6) and Alaska Region (Region 10). Hiatt currently serves as NW Oregon Interagency Fire staff officer for the Willamette and Siuslaw national forests in Oregon (Region 6), Northwest Oregon District BLM and the Oregon Coast NWS Refuge Complex in the Pacific Northwest Region (Region 6).

Amber Waters accepted the position of program development and budget officer for the Pacific Southwest Region (R5). Waters currently serves as director of Program Development, Budget and Accountability for the Pacific Southwest Region (R5), Regional Office.
