Tomorrow is the last day to share your feedback in this year’s 2023 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey. Employee feedback has been instrumental in implementing the New Employee Experience, Workforce Entry and Work Environment Improvement programs; revitalizing leadership development and supervisor training; launching the Line Officer Academy; increasing flexibilities and support for hybrid and remote work; standing up the Employee Wellbeing Branch; and centralizing and improving the Employee Assistance Program.

Last year’s participation was 43%, but as of July 5, only 34.4% of eligible employees have participated in this year’s survey. The Work Environment and Performance Office is leading in participation at 67.6%, followed by Forest Products Lab (57.7%) and Research and Development (57.4%). Among the regions, Alaska Region leads at 53.3%. The graph below shows the percentage of people who have taken the survey by region, station and Washington Office.

Time is of the essence. If you have not taken the survey, please take 30 minutes to complete the survey today. You are allowed to use work time (‘01’ time) to take the survey, and all supervisors are expected to provide at least 30 minutes for each employee to take the survey. Look for an email from Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey-AG EVAG@opm.gov, with the subject line, 2022 OPM Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey.
