This map of fall color indicators is based on eyewitness accounts and represents a general overview. It is not an exact representation of peak leaf color. Color Description
Green [Green, 1] Summer green to beginning to turn.
Orange [Orange, 2] Majority of leaves are changing to peak colors.
Brown [Brown, 3] Past peak but some colors may remain
