Safety Information

Group size must be at least three people.

Each person must wear a hard hat and have at least 3 light sources. Rope and gloves are strongly recommended.

Caves may pose special dangers to visitors due to flooding, falling rocks, and other hazards, which may require special skills and equipment. Cave visitors are responsible for their own safety and should take precautions to learn safety procedures and utilize proper equipment.

Some known hazards include: pits up to 20 feet deep, slippery surfaces, low-hanging formations, abrasive surfaces, loose rocks, narrow passageways and, last but not least, Rattlesnakes.
