The Region 3 Small Tracts Act Procedural Guidelines provides for the redelegation of authority to District Rangers to process some items in the implementation of the Act and Regulations. The following items as listed in Section 103 of the Guidelines are delegated to the District Rangers. a. Receive applications. b. Determine eligibility of applicants. c. Determine eligibility of National Forest System Lands for conveyance. d. Accept or deny applications. 21.04 Remaining authorities listed in section 103 2 of the Guidelines related to Small Tracts Act case processing are reserved to the Forest Supervisor.
