1416.11 – Annual Schedule

These schedules shall be repeated.  Team leaders shall schedule actual review dates so as to minimize conflicts.

 

1416.12 – Review Team

 

The interdisciplinary review team shall be made up of the Forest Supervisor, Forest Staff Officer, District Ranger and Deputy District Ranger.

 

 

1416.14 – Review Plan

 

Prepare a simple review plan with the District Ranger and have it approved by the Forest Supervisor before initiating on-site review work

 


 

1416.14c - Program Review Plans.

 

In formulating the review plan, the program review topics (FSM 1413) and the following issues should be considered: 

 

1.      Is the Forest Plan being followed?

2.      Is project work being implemented as per the EA and Decision Notice?

3.      Are environmental effects occurring as predicted and is appropriate project level analysis being conducted?

 

Emphasis will be placed on efforts to help the districts comply with NEPA, NFMA, and FLRMP implementation, monitoring and evaluation requirements.

1416.31 - Action Plan. 

 

Develop an action plan and transmit to District Ranger within 15 days following transmittal of the review report.  Use FSM 1418.1 as a guide in developing the action plan.


1416.32 - Follow-up.  

 

To ensure the completion of planned corrective action:

 

1.      The Forest Supervisor shall provide instructions for reporting completion of actions in the letter transmitting the action plan.

 

2.      District Ranger responsible for actions shall certify to the Forest Supervisor the completion of planned actions.

 

3.      The team leader shall monitor to ensure the submission of all certifications and the closure of the review.

1416.21 – On-Site Procedure for Review

 

Use FSM 1417.1 as a guide to organizing the on-site review in a manner the team considers appropriate.

 

1416.25 - Review Report.

 

Prepare a review report and transmit to the District Ranger within 30 days following the review.  Use the format in FSM 1417.4 as a guide in preparing the report.
