6570.44 – Delegations of Authority

 

      3.  District Rangers.  District Rangers are delegated authority to issue letters of demand and collect full payment for Fire Trepass claims not exceeding $600.00.

 

The debtor must be notified on the Bill for Collection that interest will be charged on overdue paments and at the rate in effect at the time payments become overdue.  The interest rate effective on the date the bill becomes overdue will apply to the bill throughout the life of the particular overdue payment.  Interest Rate are published quarterly by the Department of Tresury and can be obtained from Budget and Finance prior to the issuance of each new fire trepass billing.
