12 short films showcase climate adaptation resources

May 20, 2022

WASHINGTON, DC—Climate change threatens America’s farmers, ranchers, foresters and communities. Weather patterns are shifting. Storms, floods, droughts and wildfire are becoming increasingly frequent and severe. To address the large task of understanding how these changes will impact Americans, the USDA Climate Hubs and their partners are working in fields and forests across the country to bring knowledge and technology to practitioners. USDA Climate Hubs are led and hosted by the Forest Service and the Agricultural Research Service.

A new series of 12 short films, each less than two minutes long, highlights the breadth of work that the hubs do on the ground to support farmers, ranchers, land managers and students. The films describe ways to store carbon and reduce methane, enhance community resilience to wildfire and drought, and foster critical partnerships that support tribes.
