The USDA Forest Service is embracing self-service technology to increase efficiency and self-reliance. Accordingly, users are empowered to reserve video teleconferencing bridge lines using the Microsoft Outlook calendar. To learn how, view a 15-minute recorded session of a live VTC Bridge Reservations training or read the overview and instructions in Creating a Bridge Reservation.

What you need to do

Be aware of the change regarding self-service for reserving VTC bridge lines.

Additionally, Forest Service staff are encouraged to use existing desktop-based alternatives for video teleconferencing, such as Skype, Adobe Connect, and WebEx. Please visit Video Teleconferencing Alternatives for more details. Self-directed training for web-based video conferences solutions can be found at the FS Teams Collaboration Site.
