HRM: New mandatory drug-free workplace training for all supervisors

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is committed to the safety, security, and wellness of all its employees. A drug-free workplace is critical in meeting USDA’s mission and maintaining employee’s productivity.
What You Need to Know
Starting on March 6, 2023, all supervisors will be automatically assigned the following mandatory trainings in Aglearn.
- The updated Drug-Free Workplace Program.
- The HHS Federal Drug-Free Workplace Program online supervisor training course if a similar course is not already completed in AgLearn.
- The Department of Transportation (DOT) Reasonable Suspicion course.
Deadline
You must complete the training as soon as possible, no later than March 31, 2024.
Exemptions:
- If you have previously completed a similar course and there is a record in AgLearn, you will automatically receive credit and will not need to retake the updated version of the course.
- If you would like to request an exception, please send justification and proof of previous training completion to the HRM Drug Testing Staff by creating an HR Help case.
If you have previously completed the training and are interested in a refresher, you can self-assign and complete the training by searching the term Drug Testing in AgLearn.
