HRM: Two-hour early dismissal July 2

July 1, 2021

HRM Header

USDA Secretary Vilsack has authorized a two-hour early departure from work on Friday, July 2, in celebration of Fourth of July.

Supervisors should work with their employees who are unable to participate in the early departure tomorrow due to mission critical needs to identify another day within the next two weeks (July 5- 17) to participate in the two-hour early departure.

What you need to do

Supervisor approval is required to participate in the two-hour early departure.

Employees will code their timesheet using administrative leave, transaction code 66, for the early departure.

Employees who are not able to be released early from work tomorrow due to mission needs will code their timesheet as normal using TC “01” official time. Please work with your supervisor to identify another day within the next two weeks (July 5-17) to use the two-hour departure authorization.
