RECENTLY ISSUED DIRECTIVES

FSM 6500 Chapter 30 – Billings and Collections (6/26/2023)

• This amendment revises the entire chapter by removing obsolete direction, authorities, forms, and processes throughout the chapter. Adds new authorities and guidance for billings, collections, debt management and the employee debt waiver process.

FSH 2209.13 Chapter 30 - Temporary Grazing and Livestock Use Permits (6/30/2023)

• This amendment revises requirements and procedures to issue and administer temporary grazing permits and livestock use permits. In addition, the two types of permits were formerly addressed in separate chapters but are now consolidated under this chapter. The title of this chapter has been changed to "Temporary Grazing and Livestock Use Permits" (formerly, "Temporary Grazing Permits"). Consolidates previous direction in chapter 40 regarding Livestock Use Permits into this chapter to reflect that temporary grazing and livestock use permits now use the same form.

FSH 2209.13 Chapter 60 - Records (6/30/2023)

• This amendment revises requirements and procedures to maintain paper copy grazing permit administration records and adds new requirements and procedures necessary for establishing and maintaining electronic grazing permit records and reporting.

FSH 2209.13 Chapter 70 - Compensation for Permittee Interests in Rangeland Improvements (6/30/2023)

• This amendment clarifies who may qualify for compensation and under what circumstances compensation payments may be paid.

• ICR OMB # 0596-0003 Grazing Permit Administration Forms was approved without change on 06/06/2023.
• ICR OMB # 0596-0010 Forest Industries Post Data Collection Systems was approved without change on 6/20/2023.
• ICR OMB # 0596-0087 Commercial Use of the Woodsy Owl Symbol – 36 CFR Part 272 was approved without change on 06/27/2023.
