Welcome to the 3rd Policy Report of the 2021 calendar year.
Recently issued directives:
1. ID FSM 2230-Grazing and Livestock Use Permit System (2/26/2021)
This interim directive (ID) FSM 2238.6, Annual Rates and Competitive Bid Adjustment Factors, sets out the grazing fee rates in effect for the 2021 grazing season on National Forest System lands; the rates for unauthorized use and permittee excess use; fees charged for livestock use permits; and competitive bid permits-2021 bid adjustment factors.
2. FSM 7720-Transportation System Development (3/15/2021)
Revises dollar value threshold for requiring a Value Analysis for FSM 7720. Removes references to specific dollar values and adds reference to values identified in OMB Circular A-131. Removes reference to specific dollar threshold for requiring value engineering clauses in contracts and replaces with reference to current simplified acquisition threshold.
3. FSM 1340-Management Improvement Administration (3/15/2021)
